We are building a home for our elderly priests

Many of our old priests need a place of peace, dignity, and continued spiritual fulfillment - a home where they can spend their remaining years, surrounded by a compassionate community and the consoling gift of nature.

With your help, we can make this vision a reality.

A home for everyone

To create a sacred sanctuary in Bahay Diño where ageing clergy can live their golden years with dignity, peace, and spiritual fulfillment, surrounded by the healing beauty of nature and a compassionate community that honors their lifelong service to God and others.

Fr Rufo Diño, CM (1934 - 2009), a Vincentian priest
Inspired by Fr. Rufo Diño's selfless service to the marginalized, we strive to ensure that those who dedicated their lives to others receive the love, respect, and care they deserve.

"His Love for the poor knew no bounds to the point that he is being exploited by some. His death is a great loss to the Province but we sure that from above he will continue to be our inspiration on what it means to be a Vincentian today."

The inspiration behind the project name "Bahay Diño" also invites us to say it in a familiar Filipino way — “Bahay din n’yo”, meaning "Home for Everyone." This reflects the heart of our mission: to provide a true shelter, open to old priests diocesan, religious priests, and also pastors in need of care, dignity, and community.

Ways to help

Our volunteer engineers and architects are now analyzing the site location and planning for the structure.

Here are the other ways you can help:

Funding for construction

Your financial support will directly fund the materials and labor needed to build Bahay Diño, creating a safe and dignified home for our elderly clergy.

Medical and wellness resources

Donations of medicines, medical equipment, and wellness essentials will help ensure proper healthcare and a high quality of life for the residents.

Furnishings and essentials

Contributions such as beds, tables, and chairs will make the living spaces warm and comfortable for our elderly priests.

Ongoing operational support

Regular donations for food, utilities, and salaries for caregivers will sustain Bahay Diño’s daily operations and long-term success.

Led by Fr Dari Dioquino, Bahay Diño is grateful for its growing community of benefactors who help sustain our mission of providing a home for our elderly clergy. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to completing Bahay Diño and providing a true home for those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.
